while they were sitting in d dewan up until recess, i was alternating between walking up n down taking care of pengawas de thg n hiding in bilik pengawas playing wif my gameboy..lol..
annyways..afterward not got essay de..so..simply write lorz..then..got an 80 question sej quiz..
b4 d rock finished giving d question papers, we were finished..

'Nam

Unlike wad i have said b4, i wiwl again decline to post pictures on my trip to vietnam..too much hassle..if eu wanna c d pics, i have uploaded some to my fs n msn..which include a few utterly stupid pics of miie..haha..
btw..here's a heads up of my trip..dun say i din post abt 'nam! hehe..
neways..i arrived there late wednesday nyt..okay so it was 9pm 'nam tym (which is one hour behind msia tym).. we had dinner in a chi-nam (dats my name 4 thgz dat r a mixture of chinese n vietnames..hehe) restaurant den went to our hotel..vien dong hotel.4 star de..wahsei wahsei.. *.*
ho chi minh nightlife is hot,crowded,intense n packed wif motorcycles..
d nxt day, we had bfast in our hotel..n i actually ate rabbit stew..! ergh i noe..xP
then we got our morning shock when we tried to cross the road..there were maybe 100+ motorcycles zooming past us every ten seconds!! apparently, there were 3.5mil ppl in 'nam who owned a mcycle, out of their population of 8mil..
dat means dat almost every 2 ppl (lil kids included) own a motorcycle..n each yr, 12-13000 ppl die in road accidents alone..now dats scary..
btw..did i mention our tour guide, chin? he's quite a nice guy but wif a waaay weird british accent..haha..

we went top the cu chi tunnels..these tunnels were used by d guerillas if old when they were fighting d americans..they hid underground 2 prevent frm d bombings of d americans..most of their tunnel entrances were hidden very cleverly..
n..i also fired a real life AK47! wow-whee..amazingly, i tink one of my bullets actually hit d target..hehe..

Harvest moon

Heyzz..
Ever heard of a game called harvest moon?
Its most popular on the gameboy,but there are versions on psp, ps1, ps2 n even pc..
Basically..
Ur put in charge of a run-down farm..n eu hv 2 make it succesful, by clearing it up n planting various veggie n raising cows, sheeps, chickens n even a dog n a horse..
It has a cute animation n rather cute sprites in a friendly environment dat anybody can adapt 2 n lyk, even ppl who dun hv d knack 4 other button-mashing games..its easy 2 play, n can last quite a few game years, spanning courting, marriage n even childbirth..
There's no end 2 d fun, so go get a hm..!!

Its quite a nice anime, abt a young spirit master who strives to surpass his famous grandfather. Its rather interesting, very suitable 4 viewing late on a drowsy weekday nyt when evy1 has gone 2 bed..

7.18a.m. woke up then promptly fell asleep again
7.56 a.m. got woken up
8.14 a.m. was ironing d lines in2 my scout pants..put d iron on2 d pants..heard fizzling sound..took up the iron, found dat it burned a humongous hole down d front of my 1 n only scout pants..
i do not blif it..i burned my pants..gives a new meaning to the phrase 'liar,liar,pants on fire'..
um..nvm..
10.25 a.m. arrived hq n got new scout pants, then went office
12.15 p.m. after on9ing, wanted 2 change, then found out i 4got 2 bring my scout uni along

conclusion: i cant go meeting 2day..haiz..T.T

Scouting as a way of life

In this whole post, the main point, the summary, the conclusion.. Is for my 'brothers' to read and agree enthusiastically and for newbies (juniors) or other people to just gawk at the picture i will paint of my life as a scout. First things first. As you might have guessed, im a scout. Habis cerita. The absurdity of this phrase lies in the simplicity. Behold: i am a scout. Now, what strikes your mind..? Im sure a 14 year old boy on the plump side bedecked in a full uniform walking around doing whatever it is that those idiots called scouts do, right? Well, WRONG!! This here post is to tell you 1 thing, and ONE THING ONLY. That is, SCOUTS ROCK!! To juniors: no matter what anyone says, scouts are not lame, they can be hot and unbearable especially if ur wearing a full u on uni day, and we scouts can also be bokasi, but WE ROCK. 'nuff said.

Scouting, also known as the Scout Movement, is a worldwide youth movement with the stated aim of supporting young people in their physical, mental and spiritual development, so that they may play constructive roles in society.
Scouting began in 1907 when Robert Baden-Powell, Lieutenant General in the British Army, held the first Scouting encampment at Brownsea Island in England. Baden-Powell wrote the principles of Scouting in Scouting for Boys (London, 1908), based on his earlier military books, with influence and support of Frederick Russell Burnham (Chief of Scouts in British Africa), Seton of the Woodcraft Indians, Smith of the Boys' Brigade, and his publisher Pearson. 2007 marked the centenary of Scouting (there was a Campfire held at HQ, it rained most of the night.. we were soaked thru but had a friggin great tym..!! hehex..) world wide, with member organizations planning events all over the world in order to celebrate the event.

Now that we know the vague history of scouting started by Lord Robert Stephenson Smyth Baden-Powell of Gilwell, i will continue with a few things of what we do in meetings, annual training camp 2007 (ANTAC 2007), and Usaha Camp this January past. For further references on other camps and activities i didnt have a chance to attend including June Camp 2007, this year's Serian District Camp, and the first Usaha Camp taken by Troop 2 of the 5th Kuching Scout Group. Besides that, there will be a much interesting post further on which in i will do comparison between the 3 major uniform bodies in Kuching high School, namely Persaatuan Bulan Sabit Merah (PBSM, red crescent), St John Ambulance, and of course the 5th Kuching Scout Group. I promise you, IT WILL BE BLOODY.. to be continued..

Introduction

Im a 14 year old boy by the name of Jason. I was born in Kuala Lumpur and moved to Kuching when i was 3 years old. Im currently studying at SMK Kuching High, 2b. Grew up surrounded by kuchingnites, and have been accepted as one (more or less). Stil go back to KL every so often. Will post a pic later on. This isnt my first blog, but ive decided to give it a try and see. This blog will document my life as a music addict, a prefect, a scout, a student and generally a 14 year old teenager, part n parcel included.
